The Production Factory is a global production agency working across stills and film. We produce high-end visual content for fashion, luxury, beauty, lifestyle, and culture’s most forward-thinking brands, creatives, and agencies. From concept to final delivery, we handle the full production journey - bringing ideas to life through thoughtful planning, expert production, and industry-leading post-production.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled e-commerce Retoucher to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, on-brand product imagery that enhances the customer experience and supports online sales performance. The ideal candidate has strong technical retouching skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of images. Please note this is a hybrid role, requiring remote and on-site work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Retouch high volumes of model & still life images for e-commerce platforms in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with production, photographers, stylists, and creative teams to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate product representation while enhancing overall visual appeal.
  • Perform colour correction, exposure adjustments, background clean-up, and composition.
  • Conduct quality control checks prior to final delivery.
  • Maintain consistency in lighting, colour accuracy, cropping, and file naming conventions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take direction from Lead Re-toucher, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, workflow standards, and production deadlines.
SKILLS
  • Proven experience in e-commerce retouching for 2 – 4 years.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (including masking, clipping paths, frequency separation, and compositing).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate home workstation setup.
  • Familiarity with workflow management systems or DAM platforms.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom or Capture One.
  • Experience with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle product retouching.
  • A strong visual eye and commitment to brand consistency.
  • Someone with a positive, collaborative approach to remote teamwork.
  • Self-motivated but able to work within a very close-knit team.
  • To be able to work well under pressure and have a flexible attitude.
  • Experience with AI tools ideal.
