THE ROLE
We are looking for a junior creative video editor, ideally with previous in-brand experience, to work on editing content for our social media channels. This video editor will shape the visual storytelling of our social fashion and lifestyle content. They will support the evolution of our video handwriting and help bring our brand vision to life with elevated, fashion-forward content.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit compelling video content for a variety of formats, including both paid and organic social media, brand films, BTS and interviews. Occasionally supporting edits for wider campaign videos as needed.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to align on visual direction, storytelling and pacing.
- Stay current on visual, editing and cultural trends to ensure our content feels fresh and relevant, especially in the social space.
- Grade footage to create a cohesive, premium look across all edits.
- Select and sync music that enhances storytelling and fits the brand tone.
- Apply on-brand motion graphics and text overlays when required.
- Take and implement feedback from multiple stakeholders efficiently while maintaining high standards and deadlines.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience editing video content for fashion, lifestyle or beauty brands.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating social-first edits as well as longer-form storytelling.
- Deep understanding of video content trends across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging formats.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop etc).
- Skilled in grading and colour correction.
- Strong sense of timing, music and fashion aesthetics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative environment with multiple deliverables.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
