The Lighthouse is a 5-bedded residential home for females aged 13-18. The Lighthouse provides a unique package of care and supports 24 hours a day and 365 days a year for young people within our care system. This provision is part of Priory’s transitional living services for young people requiring support with risk-taking behaviours, offering the best possible care in their recovery journey.

The Lighthouse is a large detached house near to Stroud Town Centre. We provide a high ratio of care, which enables a robust and proactive approach to risk management, whilst supporting people to engage with meaningful activity in the community.

At Priory, you will be part of a close-knit and diverse team that helps individuals day to day, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You will help people reach their full potential through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives. Your own positive attitude and genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support will be integral to the culture of our teams. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

Whilst previous experience is a plus, the key things you need to excel in this role are empathy and a passion for caring, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
