We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team in Kingswinford DY6. This is a full time role. 07:00 - 21:00 (weekend work included) £13:45 per hour.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing.

- As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of our residents and tenants.
- You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
- Encouraging people to live as independently as possible, while supporting them in building their life skills and achieving goals at their own pace.
- Supporting tenants in a person centred way, which can include assisting with personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living skills, including maintenance of their tenancy.
- Complete daily administration of electronic and paper records with the involvement of the individual as appropriate.
- Supporting the individual in maintaining their health and wellbeing, which may involve liaising with other specialists.
- Supporting and encouraging the individual’s participation and integration in the local community through activities and interests that meet their ambitions and help them achieve outcomes in their chosen way.
- Embedding the REACH standards in everyday practice.
- Following company policies and procedures.
