Priory Hospital Arnold – Part‑Time | 30 hours per week | Site based – HCPC registration required. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing high quality compassionate care and who is keen to be involved in an exciting and growing service. We are soon to open a new Forensic Low Secure Ward in addition to our existing Acute and PICU wards, therefore we are looking for someone who is innovative as well as someone who can demonstrate our core values: putting people first, being supportive, acting with integrity, striving for excellence and being positive. Priory Hospital Arnold is an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), for males and females struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions.
As a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, your role will involve working with our existing dynamic multidisciplinary teams to carry out holistic OT assessments and interventions to support planning and delivery of patient care. The multidisciplinary teams all work in a way that is collaborative, evidence based and responsive to people’s diverse needs. The post holder will be involved in clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy support staff, providing guidance and focus to their work, ensuring safe working practices. Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by Senior OT and Line Management by OT Head of Therapy Services. The post holder will have the opportunity to link with the wider Priory OT network and will work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure high quality service provision and gain opportunities for support and continual professional development. There will be opportunity to provide student placements in accordance with local agreements and standards, and opportunity to support students from other disciplines. The post holder will also liaise with a range of agencies and services in the community.
