The predicted salary is between 1300 - 1800 £ per month.

We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and caring Lunchtime Supervisor for our small primary school. The role will include supervising and engaging with the children during playtime, monitoring and encouraging good eating habits, rewarding good behaviour and social skills and building relationships. This is an ideal opportunity to begin a career in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee children at lunchtime and lead play activities.
  • Listen to the children and encourage their play, and maintain discipline in the playground.
  • Promote student well-being by helping children develop good relationships, self-reliance, self-esteem and personal health and hygiene standards.

Qualifications & Personal Qualities

  • Ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.
  • Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
  • Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • First Aid qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with children desirable but not essential.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
