Role Summary

We are seeking a Porter to join our portering team. This is a bank role working on an \”as and when required\” basis, supporting staffing during busy periods and covering staff absences such as annual leave.

Key Duties

1. Perform general and ad hoc tasks, including patient, equipment, and goods movement.
2. Escort patients and visitors, explaining hospital facilities and services.
3. Provide courteous service to all customers.
4. Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained.
5. Maintain security within the hospital, including compliance with security procedures and external patrols.
6. Complete all mandatory training requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Frontline customer-facing experience.
• Experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality portering is beneficial.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills Level 2.
• Proficiency in PC use, including relevant software and systems.
