We have an opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join our Engineering department at Sarum Road Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, the UK's leading independent healthcare provider. The role involves managing engineering maintenance, supporting hospital operations, and leading energy and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering maintenance and breakdown support
- Manage and report on R&M budgets
- Lead environmental and energy reduction efforts
- Support health, safety, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership and regional managers
- Support cluster sites for on-call duties and cover staff absences
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in engineering maintenance management
- Line management experience for on-site engineers
- Current CSCS card; ECS card if electrically qualified
- City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Desirable: Apprenticeship, fire safety training, understanding of quality management and health & safety laws
