Priory Hospital Glasgow has an opportunity for a Ward Manager in Mental Health Nursing to join our team. Priory Hospital Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre providing support for mental health conditions and addictions, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local train stations nearby and easy access from Glasgow city centre, as well as motorway links.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of our Eating Disorder Unit. You will lead and support the nursing team, ensure high standards of patient care, manage staffing and compliance, and promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for patients and colleagues alike.

What you'll bring to the role

  • An experienced Mental Health Nurse with at least two years leadership experience.
  • Experience supervising nursing or care staff.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor (or willingness to achieve).
  • Computer literate.
  • Willingness to undertake further clinical, leadership and management training.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a clinical environment.
