Job Description Description \n Priory Hospital Newbury \n Β£55,000 per annum \n Full Time 37.5 Hours \n \nPriory Hospital Newbury has an opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services to join our team.\n \n Priory Hospital Newbury, Berkshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service supporting adult males with mental health needs, working towards community reintegration. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby including services to Reading and Basingstoke, and nearby train stations providing links into London.\n What you'll be doing \n \nYou will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.\n \nReporting to the Hospital Director, you will be a key member of the Hospital Senior Management Team, providing strong clinical leadership across our nursing and therapy services. You will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of clinical services, ensuring our patients receive the highest standards of care and support.\n \nYou will lead clinical services across our two wards: a 12-bed Rehabilitation & Recovery (R&R) ward and an 18-bed Acute ward. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital, you will promote a positive, patient-centred culture, drive continuous improvement and ensure our clinical teams are supported to deliver the best possible outcomes and experience for our patients.\They are integral to driving a positive high performing culture where we strive to deliver the best care and outcomes for the people we support. n What you'll bring to the role \n Essential for the role \n \n Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council \n Experience working at a supervisory or managerial level within a relevant clinical setting. \n Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop clinical teams. \n Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing quality improvement initiatives within a relevant clinical environment. \You will be well supported with regular career conversations.
