Description Hospital/Site and ward information if applicable £19,606.76 per annum Part Time - 21 hours per week Priory Hospital Dewsbury has an opportunity for a Physical Healthcare Nurse to join the team. This is a part time role of 21 hours per week. Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and increasing physical health needs. We also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health. Although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, we are well-placed to provide support to acute patients within our dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward. Admissions can also take place due to other placement breakdowns (either from their home or other care environment), or step-downs from prison settings. What you'll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. Lead on physical healthcare, ensuring patients receive appropriate assessments, care plans and ongoing support.
