Description Beach House Salary £13.95 per hour Full Time
Beach House is located between the Branksome and Parkstone areas of Poole.

Our home offers assessment and residential support for seven males and females who have a learning disability and who may be on the autism spectrum.

We can also support people with complex conditions and communication difficulties.

Beach House is situated on a quiet street, within easy reach of both Poole and Bournemouth.

Our team are dedicated to empowering and encouraging the people we care for to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible.

What you'll be doing We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times.

You will play a key role in supervising day-to-day operations, coaching colleagues, leading team meetings, and ensuring the people who use our service are supported to live fulfilling, independent lives.

Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication.

Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.

Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.

Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.

Manage service users finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy.

Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.

Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.

Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.
