Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager to join the team on the Jubilee Ward. This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.

As Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the ward. Working alongside the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will help drive high standards of clinical care, promote a positive patient experience, and support the development of a motivated and skilled workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate nurse to develop their leadership skills, influence service delivery, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of those in our care.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation (RMN qualified)
- Trained Assessor/Supervisor
- Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership
- Good computer skills
