As IT and Digital Support Technician you will be part of the IT team, working in conjunction with our third‑party IT support provider to help deliver an effective and efficient IT service for all users. Our 14‑bed inpatient unit, located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, also offers outpatient and community services, including a successful Lymphoedema clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure IT support requests are managed and communicated effectively and timely, causing minimal disruptions to users.
- Maintain, administer and directly support hardware including desktop PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT systems and solutions across the Hospice in both clinical and operational environments.
- Provide application, software, hardware and mobile device support within an IT environment.
- Use excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and the MS Office/Office 365 suite.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a positive professional approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CompTIA A+ and N+ certification or an IT‑related degree/high diploma (or equivalent industry qualification or experience).
