We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) within our Inclusion Team to develop and enhance the learning of pupils with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidates will:
- Work on a one-to-one basis with named children and in small groups
- Be initially based in Key Stage 1
- Organise basic resources to support development
- Attend training as deemed relevant by the Inclusion Leader/Headteacher
- Ideally have proven skills and abilities working with children on the Autistic Spectrum or children with learning difficulties
- Be interested in developing skills in working with children with additional needs
- Have GCSE Maths or English grade C or above or equivalent
- Have proven skills and abilities working with children in a school setting
- The school is committed to safeguarding and the promoting the welfare of children and young people and to providing equal opportunities in employment.
- A criminal background check is a requirement of this role and is obtained via the Disclosure Barring Service's standard procedure. Overseas' police checks will also be conducted where necessary. In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, an internet/social media search will also be carried out on candidates selected for interview.
