The PRIDE Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Positive Behaviour Mentor to join our team. The aim of a Positive Behaviour Mentor in our school is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every pupil can develop positive behaviours, achieve their potential, and build the skills needed for lifelong success.
Responsibilities
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages students to develop positive behaviours and reach their potential.
- Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and/or challenging behaviour to access learning.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement behaviour management strategies and support individual pupil goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSE English and Maths (and English as applicable).
- Experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.
- Experience of working with students with a range of Special Educational Needs such as ADHD and ASD.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Experience with Arbor and CPOMS (or equivalents).
