About the Role
As an Assistant Manager at Pret a Manger, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will help lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently high-quality food while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment built on teamwork and camaraderie. By leading from the front, you will ensure exceptional customer experiences and resolve any issues promptly. You will also assist in training and developing team members, helping them grow professionally within Pret.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth operation.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and high-quality food.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment built on teamwork and camaraderie.
- Resolve customer and operational issues promptly, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Assist in training and development of team members for professional growth.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams to ensure efficient service, uphold health and safety standards, and support stock control through ordering, stock takes, and waste reduction.
- Lead from the front and coach staff on customer service and operational excellence.
