The Premier League IT Department is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join the IT Project Delivery team. Premier League Studios (PLS) is transitioning from shared IT services provided externally to building its own in-house IT support. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled BA to be involved in this transition.
The BA will collaborate with PL and PLS business areas to review systems, manage integrations, document processes, and ensure service continuity in critical areas. This position is ideal for an experienced BA passionate about football systems and stakeholder engagement in the sport.

The role:
- Audit current systems to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Map and document current and future processes.
- Define integration points and dependencies with IT teams.
- Create functional specifications and requirements documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders and technical teams across business areas.
- Communicate solution designs to senior stakeholders.
- Translate designs into user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare Statements of Work and present to stakeholders.
- Assist with demonstrations, QA, and UAT processes.
- Conduct training and develop user guides.
- Monitor project progress and milestones.
- Report risks and issues, recommending corrective actions.
Requirements for the role:
- Extensive experience with IT projects.
- Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience in requirements definition and documentation.
- Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes.
- Stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Figma, Monday.com.
- Experience with system and software analysis.
- Knowledge of the full project lifecycle.
- Agile Practitioner certification (preferred).
