Role Description The HV Cable Design Engineer will be responsible for route survey and design of high-voltage cable systems. In this full-time hybrid role based in Perth. The role also involves undertaking detailed site survey and route walk, producing route options designs in GIS and CAD and options report. Undertake detailed design and cable study using ELEK/CYMCAP or similar software. Produce detailed reports and cable design drawings. C ollaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed designs, produce drawings and technical documentation.
Qualifications& Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of Cable design experience
- Experience in ELEk/CYMCAP or similar software
- Experience in AutoCAD.
- Experience in working with UK DNO standards and specifications.
