Senior Technical Specialist - D365

NPL is hiring for a permanent Senior Technical Specialist. The focus for this role is on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, providing technical guidance and expertise around end user support and the ongoing improvements processes.

You’ll be joining the Enterprise Systems team, who have responsibility for 2nd and 3rd line end user support, managing the One Version Microsoft updates, and contributing to the ongoing improvement process.

Your responsibilities:

• Be a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations expert and understand the product roadmap.
• Provide technical support to end users through the diagnosis and resolution of issues and fulfillment of requests.
• Work with functional specialists in the Enterprise Systems team and business stakeholders to define and design changes to Dynamics 365, providing advice and technical oversight.
• Ensure all changes to business applications/systems are scoped and the impact is fully explored and understood by all stakeholders.
• Implement and support changes required by the business, ensuring that any changes follow NPL test procedures and change control, producing and maintaining documentation for business applications/systems.
• Support continuous improvement to identify opportunities to bring about increased efficiencies and value in business applications/systems and integrations between them.
• Build strong, collaborative customer and stakeholder relationships that will enhance NPL’s ability to deliver its mission, its reputation and remain sustainable.
• Collaborate with NPL colleagues to ensure governance processes for Data and Processes are in-line with Cyber Security and GDPR requirements.
