We’re looking for an enthusiastic and curious individual to join us as an Apprentice Building Surveyor – a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across a diverse estate while working towards a recognised professional qualification.

This 4.5‑year degree‑level apprenticeship is more than just a first step – it’s the foundation of a long‑term career. You’ll be supported through structured training, on‑the‑job learning, and mentorship as you develop the skills needed to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Project and Building Surveying Team, you’ll support the refurbishment, maintenance, and development of a varied estate – from historic listed buildings to modern office fit‑outs.

You’ll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, including:

• Supporting project briefs, procurement, and contractor appointments
• Attending site inspections and monitoring quality and progress of works
• Assisting with budgets, reporting, and compliance
• Communicating with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Learning about building defects, repairs, sustainability, and best practices.

As you progress, you’ll take on more responsibility, including carrying out site inspections independently, with day‑to‑day support from a Senior Project Manager and guidance from a dedicated chartership mentor.
