The hospital provides a full range of maternity and women's health services, including antenatal care, labour and delivery, fetal medicine, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, fertility support, and postnatal care. It is supported by advanced diagnostic facilities, specialist theatres, neonatal intensive care services, and a multidisciplinary clinical team committed to delivering high standards of patient-centred care.
What You'll Do:
- Assessing and managing paediatric and neonatal patients, including post-operative paediatric patients, under consultant guidance.
- Recognising and responding to deteriorating patients, with timely escalation to the named consultant and PICU team where required.
- Providing emergency care and participating in paediatric and/or neonatal resuscitation appropriate to role and competency.
- Undertaking procedures appropriate to competency, including venepuncture, cannulation, lumbar puncture and catheterisation where required.
- For neonatal RDs, attending deliveries and emergency caesarean sections, reviewing babies on labour ward/postnatal ward where there are clinical concerns, and supporting neonatal resuscitation.
What You Will Bring:
- GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK
- Completion of Foundation Training and ideally 4 years further experience in Paediatrics / or Specialist Training.
- Relevant Medical qualifications / Post Grads.
