Overview

Patient Access Manager, Great Portland Street. Full time 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday. Permanent.

We’re looking for a Patient Access Manager to join our Patient Access team based at The Portland Hospital. This is your opportunity to become a vital part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider by joining our Patient Access department. You will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service to our patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate the patient access experience by providing a world class service to our patients through a seamless patient journey and a high level of customer care at all times.
  • Overall management & responsibility for Facility Revenue Cycle ensuring maximum revenue capture.
  • Recruit, appraise and develop the Patient Access Leaders within each team.
  • Develop and implement, with the GPAM and Facility Senior Management Team (SMT), the Patient Access Facility strategy in line with the direction of HCA Healthcare UK business plan.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory procedures in accordance with registering authorities, policies and guidelines, including internal and external financial audit requirements.
  • Continually maintain knowledge and adherence of all Hospital procedures and policies related to Patient Access and effectively communicate changes to the teams.
  • Build, maintain and develop effective working relationships with all service users.
  • Monitor, control and manage expenditure and participate in the preparation of the department annual budget.

What You\’ll Bring

  • Management experience, ideally in healthcare.
  • Experience in an administration role in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong IT skills – Excel, Word, Microsoft Office.
  • Problem solving ability including patient and consultant complaints.
