About the Institute:
The Portland Hospital is a private hospital dedicated to women's and children's healthcare. It is rated "Good" by the CQC and provides a 13‐bed inpatient neurorehabilitation and complex care unit, treating more than 40,000 child patients annually.
About the Role:
The successful postholder will be a skilled member of the nursing team, providing a high standard of holistic family‐centred care to children, young adults and families. They will promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence‐based practice and development of additional clinical skills in the specialty.
What You'll Bring:
- NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support
- Minimum 6 months' experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care in a hospital setting
- Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable
- Understanding of Safeguarding issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication
