Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Shift times Monday – Saturday (flexibility required to work early, late and long days covering early, late and long days). Service is open Monday – Friday 8am – 8.30pm and Saturday 8am – 2pm. Permanent contract, competitive salary (DOE) plus 4% shift allowance.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Staff Nurse within our gynae outpatient unit you will be expected to:

  • Provide continuous nursing care and support to patients, assessing their care needs.
  • Collaborate with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
  • Assist with running OPD clinics and performing procedures, mainly gynaecological OPD procedures.
Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse with a current NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience within the outpatient environment.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Good knowledge of women’s health, inclusive of gynaecological outpatient procedures.
  • Evidence of any gynaecological training courses.
  • Phlebotomy and Cannulation training desirable.
