Join a dynamic and forward-thinking business services organisation as a Reward Consultant, where your expertise will directly influence your client’s employee value proposition and total reward strategy across a wide variety of businesses. This is a pivotal role for a commercially minded and analytically strong professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You’ll be partnering with HR and business leaders to design, deliver and embed innovative reward frameworks – from benchmarking and pay structures to bonus design and benefits strategies. Whether it's managing projects end to end, shaping executive job evaluation or leading salary surveys, your work will drive real business impact and help attract and retain top talent.

Duties to include:

  • Benchmark salaries against market data and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Deliver bespoke consultancy projects for clients, both large and small-scale.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, including salary structures and grading frameworks.
  • Conduct virtual client meetings to gather job data and understand reward structures.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, sometimes including executive teams and boards.
  • Support clients in implementing job evaluation and grading structures.
  • Deliver job evaluation training (up to 4 hours) to client HR teams and managers.
  • Conduct webinars and workshops on salary benchmarking and reward trends.
  • Provide expert advice on total reward, pay structures, and best practices.
  • Support data collection from clients to enhance our salary benchmarking database.
  • Analyse salary trends and industry benchmarks to ensure up-to-date market insights.
  • Assist in the development of salary surveys and reports.
  • Advise clients on pay structures, benefits, and total reward strategies.
  • Keep up to date with UK employment laws, gender pay reporting, and reward trends.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to deliver training sessions and webinars confidently.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with a consultancy mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of UK pay structures, reward strategies, and employment legislation.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with major job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer, Croner).
  • Experience working in a consultancy or advisory role.
  • Knowledge of gender pay gap reporting and executive compensation.

This role is a full-time, permanent role that is 5 days a week in the Hinckley, Leicestershire office.
