Located in the leafy suburb of Crosspool, The Porterbrook Care Home provides personalised Residential and Dementia care for up to 44 residents in a warm and welcoming environment. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team across both day and night shifts. What We Offer:
- £13.00 per hour (Day Shift)
- £13.50 per hour (Night Shift)
- Paid breaks and paid handover
- Full-time and part-time contracts available
- Free DBS check, uniform, and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)

What You Will Do:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead by example — supporting and guiding the care team during your shift, administering medication safely, and ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. Whether on days or nights, you will build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, and contribute to a calm, caring, and well-organised home environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
- Ideally working towards NVQ Level 3
- Experience in a similar senior care role
- Confident administering medication and supporting care teams
- A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
