We are Popeyes UK&I, a Times Top 100 ranked company and a great place to work. We are building the most loved chicken brand in the country and we are looking for experienced Restaurant General Managers who can take full ownership of their restaurant.
You will be a proven operator within a fast-paced restaurant, able to motivate your teams to deliver high standards and great metrics across people, sales, profit, and guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
- Full accountability for your restaurant's performance, including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit, and brand standards.
- Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
- Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
- Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
- Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
- Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
- Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
- Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture vibrant.
Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant is essential. You should have the ability to deliver quality, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times, along with a track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs. Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems is required, as well as strong people leadership skills.
Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial. The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is crucial.
