Get to know the role Job Title: Digital Merchandising Manager Job Summary: The Pokémon International Company is embarking on an innovation journey and radically transforming its digital commerce capabilities to meet accelerating international demand for original and collectable Pokémon products. As a world-renowned brand, committed to leveraging the most modern technologies to achieve a bold new vision for our company and our fans, we are looking for a Digital Merchandising Manager, who will be responsible for driving digital growth and deliver a best in class ecommerce experience on PokémonCenter.com, specifically our UK & future European storefronts. This role will deliver local & global merchandising strategies for Pokémon Center by driving digital engagement with new and existing customers with a focus on conversion and sustainable growth across all categories. People Manager: No What you’ll do Responsible for the revenue, performance and customer experience of the Pokémon Center storefronts, specifically our UK and European presence. Responsible for the overall digital presentation of UK & European storefronts and drives achievement of financial objectives by analysing data and optimizing customer experience. Work with the Product Planning and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive product campaigns, for both short and long term product releases. Work with the US-based Digital Merchandising team, to ensure best practices across all storefronts, including implementing improvements and taking the lead on select global projects and product categories. Works closely with the Digital Content and Marketing team to request, develop and maintain website assets in a timely manner, and in alignment with marketing plans. Leverage analytics, including search trends, customer buying patterns, inventory levels and product level data to optimize the site and provide regular insights to the wider UK and global teams. Implements and manages online promotions, working closely with the global Operations team. Works closely with the Planning team to understand inventory position and develop strategies for over/low stocks. Recommends new products based on customer search behaviour. Work closely with the Tech and Operations teams to ensure site stability and reporting of and fixing any issues. Develop A/B testing strategies to further improve product performance and customer experience. What you’ll bring Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in Digital Merchandising or related fields. Bachelor\’s degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience. Experience with Content Management Systems and Product Information Management systems. Proficiency with Excel and website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Omniture/Adobe Analytics. Experience of managing an ecommerce site with multiple, varied product categories. Ability to be flexible with problem-solving to meet objectives. Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity as business needs change. Knowledge of creative software programs for digital content building. Knowledge HTML and web publishing. Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics. Excellent verbal and writing skills in English. German language would be advantageous, but not required. Good organizational and proactive time-management skills; comfortable working independently. Experience of running multi-country ecommerce sites would be beneficial. Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £59,000.00 – £70,300.00 per year. The full range is £59,000.00 – £89,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
