We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and equipment
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest experience
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- A responsible approach to alcohol service and customer safety
- A friendly personality with a genuine interest in providing outstanding service
