Position Overview: Our Senior Producers are the trusted leads across some of our biggest and most strategic client accounts. As the Senior Producer, you will be responsible for delivering world-class content and service across multiple productions, acting as both the operational lead and creative driving force. You’ll run a slate that includes weekly and monthly ‘always on’ productions as well as special series, high-impact event coverage, and ambitious brand-led shows. You’ll be the voice clients trust and the leader our team relies on — setting the tone for excellence, ambition, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of a portfolio of shows — including weekly, fortnightly, monthly and campaign-based productions — and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and marketing/comms leads across multiple clients.
- Lead onboarding workshops and format development sessions, setting the creative vision and ensuring alignment with brand goals.
- Oversee budgets, resource planning and risk management, flagging issues and identifying efficiencies with senior leaders.
- Act as the senior lead on location during live recordings, conferences, or on-site production days, managing both kit logistics and team operations.
- Experience finding podcast guests and briefing researchers.
- Maintain and update all relevant timelines, briefs, and documents within Monday.com, ensuring accountability across the team.
- Work in close collaboration with the Head of Post Production to ensure the vision and objectives of each production are carried through editing and delivery.
- Contribute to business growth through exceptional delivery, upsell opportunities, and strategic input on account development.
- Lead client QBRs, providing performance metrics and strategic recommendations for show growth.
- Inspire, coach, and support more junior team members to elevate their production, comms, and client skills.
- Consistently bring fresh creative ideas, identify storytelling opportunities, and raise the bar for branded content.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years experience in podcast production, content development, or multimedia/agency role.
- Exceptional project management skills, including high levels of organisation with a meticulous approach to timelines, budgets, and client delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of podcast platforms, publishing workflows, analytics tools and monetisation strategies.
- Demonstrable leadership ability with a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to lead with both creative flair and commercial awareness.
- Experience with rights, compliance, and IP issues in audio content.
- Deep understanding of the podcast landscape and passion for building shows that resonate and grow audiences.
- A naturally collaborative, detail-driven, and proactive communicator.
- Confidence to own a room — whether it’s an onboarding session, a production debrief, or a strategic planning meeting.
Salary Range: £38,000–£45,000 depending on experience. This is a hybrid role based between our London hub, remote working, and regular client visits across the UK and internationally.
