As a Producer at The Podcast Guys, you'll lead the day‐to‐day delivery of a slate of shows—managing recordings, working directly with clients, overseeing edits, and shaping the creative direction of each series. The role is hands‐on, client‐facing, and requires juggling multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards in audio and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead producer across a portfolio of branded podcasts and video content, ensuring timely and high‐quality delivery.
- Manage client relationships at a project level, acting as their main day‐to‐day contact.
- Set up and run recording sessions (remote, studio, or on location), ensuring a smooth technical and editorial experience for clients and guests.
- Coordinate all aspects of post‐production—briefing editors, reviewing drafts, and delivering assets to clients.
- Document all production timelines, episode details, and team responsibilities clearly on Monday.com or similar software.
- Manage and maintain budgets at a project level, escalating any overages or concerns to senior leadership.
- Support the planning and creative development of shows, including scripting, structure, segment ideas, and guest research.
- Provide feedback and support to more junior members of the team and freelancers where appropriate.
- Keep up to date with content trends, tech developments, and podcast industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in audio and visual podcast production or a similar multimedia production/agency role.
- Strong technical understanding of recording workflows and editing (ideally Adobe Audition/Premiere Pro).
- Experience setting up and managing in‐person and remote recording environments (self‐shooting skills are a bonus).
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience managing clients or stakeholders.
- Highly organised with a track record of juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Creative thinker who can contribute to show formats, audience engagement ideas, and storytelling.
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non‐technical colleagues across the production process.
- Someone comfortable writing show descriptions, titles and copy — dealing with clarifications and a keen eye for detail.
