Our friendly team are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing culinary establishment. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food production, ensuring food safety standards are maintained while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Duties

  • Food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation meet company standards
  • Develop and implement specials incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste and control costs
  • Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
  • Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Enforce health & safety policies within the kitchen environment to prevent accidents or violations
  • Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining work-life balance for team members

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
  • Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and customer service standards
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
