Thank you for your interest in the Personal Managers’ Association (PMA), a member-led network of talent agencies representing actors, dramatists, directors and creatives across TV, film and theatre. We welcome applications from experienced agencies committed to engaging with our work.

Timeline:
Applications for 2026 membership are now closed. The next application window runs from October2026 to February2027. Reviews take place each February – March, with final decisions issued in April. We’re unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications.

Membership is selective, with limited spaces each year. You will be asked to provide the following information when you apply:

  • A copy of your Terms of Business (TOBs) – which we expect to comply with the PMA Approved Code of Conduct and (Artists’ Agencies only) with the Employment Agencies Act
  • Two references from current PMA members (please confirm with referees beforehand)
  • A bank or accountant letter confirming a separate client account

To apply, your agency must have at least three years in business; or be led by agents with equivalent senior agent experience and a strong industry reputation. Prior PMA engagement is considered. Alongside your submission Council members take into account the needs and capacity of current members. If you are reapplying, please highlight how your agency has developed since your last submission.

The role:

Echo is looking for an Agent’s Assistant to join our passionate and close-knit team. It’s a vital role supporting Agents across the business to ensure a positive Client experience and smooth running of projects. The right candidate has unrivalled attention to detail, has excellent communication skills, can work as part of a team and is passionate about a job done well. They’ll be proactive and a multi-tasker who can handle the pressure of a high paced and busy environment with a “can do” attitude. In return we offer training, support and exposure to the commercials, music videos, film & TV industry, as well as opportunities for learning and personal growth.

Location: hybrid, remote and/or at our offices – De Beauvoir Block, London, N1 4EN

Hours: part-time or full-time (Mon-Fri, 9:30am-6pm) considered

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in an Agent’s Assistant or Project Management role within the film industry
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Experience of diary management, assisting and prioritising busy workloads for others
  • Innovative thinker with string problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Quick learner and driven to expand knowledge
  • Experience in building positive internal and external relationships
  • Confident in using and managing Mac OS, software applications and cloud systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, CRM and project management tools and using AI tools
  • Previous experience as an Assistant at a Talent Agency or in the Entertainment industry
  • Passionate about Commercials, Music Videos, Film and TV productions

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administrative support for Agents including inbox, calendar and workload management.
  • Maintaining CRM systems and ensuring accurate data entry
  • Provide coordination, monitoring, and updates on projects as needed
  • Administrative support for Clients including meeting and calendar management.
  • Assisting with contracts, deal memos, invoicing, and tracking client projects
  • Liaising cross departments (film/TV, commercials, accounts dept etc) to ensure the latest Client information is shared
  • Supporting with client information: updating CVs, bios, web pages, and project details
  • Social Media Management (writing and scheduling newspieces for our social media platforms)
  • Being the first point of call for the company, both on the phone and in person
  • Supporting with events, travel and organisation
  • Supporting the CEO with diary management, administrative tasks and other ad hoc support requests
  • Helping with occasional events, screenings, or award shows and festivals (as needed)
  • Supporting ad-hoc requests from Agents and the Operations team
