Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £35,000 basic salary + uncapped monthly bonus (realistic OTE £40,000 - £50,000+)

Job type: Permanent, Full Time. Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with no weekend work.

We are now looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Account Executive to join our team and play a key role in the next stage of PDC's development.

The Role:

This is a proactive B2B sales position responsible for managing and developing an established customer portfolio while identifying new business opportunities.

You will build strong relationships with plumbing and builders' merchants, increase account performance, reactivate dormant customers and generate new business across the UK.

Working closely with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and Management, you will become a trusted point of contact for your customers while contributing directly to company sales and gross profit targets.

We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with customers, commercially minded and motivated by measurable results, while maintaining PDC's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of plumbing and builders' merchant customers.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and account growth targets.
• Handle inbound sales enquiries by telephone, email, Whats App and customer portal.
• Proactively contact existing, dormant and prospective customers to generate new business.
• Build relationships with key customer decisionmakers.
• Identify upselling, cross-selling and product promotion opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities to maximise conversion.
