We are looking for a reliable, experienced and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team and play an important role in our continued success.
The Role: As a PDC driver, you will be much more than someone who simply delivers goods. You will be one of the faces of our business, representing PDC to customers every day. You will complete pre-planned delivery routes across London, Essex and surrounding areas, typically making approximately 10-15 deliveries per day. Unlike many delivery roles, our drivers are given generous time allowances. We prioritise quality of service over speed, allowing you to take care when delivering products and, where required, assist customers with placing goods. You will also support the warehouse team when you return before the end of your shift, with full training provided. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills. We provide structured in-house training, certifications and ongoing development, with opportunities to increase your earnings as you develop and take on additional skills and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver plumbing products to businesses, completing approximately 10-15 drops per day.
- Provide professional, friendly and respectful customer service at every delivery.
- Load, transport and unload products safely and securely.
- Assist customers with placing goods where required.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks using company technology.
- Keep the company van clean, tidy and roadworthy.
