The Role
As an SEO Executive, you'll support the delivery of effective SEO strategies designed to improve organic visibility, increase website traffic and generate meaningful commercial results. Working alongside experienced SEO and digital specialists, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of SEO activity, from technical optimisation and keyword research through to content and performance analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of SEO strategies across a varied client portfolio
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
- Identifying opportunities to improve organic search visibility
- Supporting on-page optimisation, including metadata, headings, internal linking and content
- Assisting with technical SEO audits and identifying website issues
- Monitoring keyword rankings, organic traffic and other key performance metrics
- Using SEO tools to analyse website performance and identify opportunities
- Supporting content strategies and working with content teams to optimise copy for search
- Conducting backlink and competitor research
- Producing regular client reports and performance updates
- Keeping up to date with Google algorithm changes, SEO trends and industry best practice
- Working collaboratively with wider digital, content and paid media teams
- Supporting senior SEO team members with client strategy and account development
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic SEO professional who is keen to learn, develop and build a career in digital marketing. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an SEO, digital marketing or search-focused role
- A good understanding of SEO principles and best practice
- Knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A genuine curiosity about search engines, websites and digital marketing
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
