The Role As Head Chef, you'll take full responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen, leading by example to deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
You'll inspire and develop your team, manage kitchen operations efficiently and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
Oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy fresh food kitchen.
Deliver consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
Manage stock, ordering, food costs and GP targets.
Produce seasonal menus and daily specials in line with company standards.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety and hygiene regulations.
Recruit, train and develop kitchen team members.
Manage rotas, labour costs and kitchen performance.
Work closely with the General Manager to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
About You Previous experience as a successful Head Chef Strong background in fresh food hospitality.
Passion for producing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Commercially aware with experience managing food costs and kitchen budgets.
Calm under pressure with a positive, hands-on approach.
Committed to developing and supporting your team.
