Our pub is focused on making sure we always serve up delicious food and drink, attentive customer service and a great guest experience. As the Deputy Manager, you will be the face of the pub for every guest that walks through our door, so we're looking for a team member who enjoys working with people and is passionate about delivering the highest standard of customer service.

Your role and key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
- Support and supervise front-of-house and bar staff
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels and place orders as required
- Assist with cash handling and end-of-day banking procedures
- Train and onboard new staff members
- Help create a welcoming, positive environment for both staff and customers
- Step in for the General Manager as needed
- Opening and closing the Pub
You'll be responsible for taking orders, serving excellent quality food and a great range of drinks. You'll lead the team on shift to create a friendly, buzzing atmosphere our guests will enjoy. You'll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance with licensing law and money handling procedures.
