As a Mixed Tax Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of both private and corporate clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services. Initially, your focus will be on tax compliance, preparing and reviewing returns for individuals and businesses of different sizes. As the role develops, you will also have the opportunity to support managers and directors on specialist advisory and consulting projects, gaining exposure to more complex and technical areas of tax.
We are seeking a candidate who is ATT or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified) with experience in both corporate and personal tax within a professional practice environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected firm of accountants based just outside Manchester, where you will work with a diverse client base and benefit from ongoing professional development in a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee a mixed portfolio of private and corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses of varying sizes
- Focus primarily on corporation tax compliance, with personal tax experience considered highly advantageous
- Provide support to managers and directors on specialist tax advisory and consulting projects as the role develops
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality service
- Proven experience in tax compliance, with a strong understanding of UK tax regulations
- Background working within a Top 50-Top 100 UK accountancy practice
- Solid expertise in corporation tax, with experience or a genuine interest in personal tax advantageous
- ATT or ACCA qualification (or part-qualified)
