Paralegal – This role will require the successful candidate to relocate to Bermuda. Relocation costs will be covered.
The Platinum Group Ltd. is seeking talented individuals to join its rapidly growing Secondee Division. We are currently in search of Litigation Paralegal(s) for temporary/secondment roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research to support litigation cases, including preparing legal papers, reports, and summaries of relevant laws.
- Draft and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, court filings, and reports.
- Maintain and organize case files, including corporate records and litigation documents.
- Perform due diligence checks and support compliance investigations.
- Prepare, manage, and file court applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide administrative support for meetings and case documentation, including indexing and organizing exhibits.
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience in litigation, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience working within a law firm.
- A recognized Paralegal qualification or Law Degree.
- Strong legal research skills, particularly in litigation matters.
- Flexible and driven, with experience in litigation or corporate legal practice.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to manage client interactions effectively.
- A professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of producing high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
