The Plastic Centre is one of the largest independently owned manufacturers and distributors of building plastics in the UK. We currently have a branch network of 20 branches and have ambitious plans to grow the branch network over the next 5 years.
We believe that the Assistant Manager role is key in the Branch Network and should provide us with a talent pool for those wanting to become our Branch Managers of the future. This is a role where the individual enjoys the day-to-day muck and bullets of being a part of the branch team but also thrives on deputising in the Branch Manager's absence.

- People who are hands-on, get stuck in supporting the Branch Manager in delivering the branch plan and are keen to develop into our future Branch Manager.

- Is the custodian of the Branch Operations - Stock, H&S, Scheduling Deliveries etc.
Accountabilities:
- Supporting the Branch Manager in delivering the overall Branch plan.
- Ensuring the branch is complying with our operational procedures.
- Able to identify local opportunities for growth.
- Supports the wider team with their development and growth.
- Accurate completion of stock takes, audits & branch compliance processes.
