Carrington West are pleased to be working with a well established growing consultancy based in Rugby who are offering an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on commercial and rural developments.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of planning activities, supporting projects from initial appraisal through to submission and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
- Providing planning advice to clients across commercial and rural projects
- Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders
- Supporting senior team members on complex planning schemes
- Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Town Planning role (private or public sector considered)
- Ideally MRTPI Chartered (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Location and Working Style
- Based in Rugby
- Primarily office-based, with some flexibility available
Interview Process

- Second stage: Face-to-face meeting
