About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-run planning consultancy with a strong reputation and a growing workload. The business is currently made up of two full-time Chartered Planners, supported by an experienced administrative team, and is experiencing a sustained increase in project demand. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint either a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their close-knit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planning advice across a varied portfolio of projects and helping support the next phase of the company's expansion.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated town planner seeking greater responsibility within a smaller consultancy environment where their contribution will have a direct impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a range of planning applications and appeals.
- Providing planning advice to clients across various sectors.
- Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assisting with business growth and client development opportunities.
About You
- MRTPI status (or be working towards Chartership if applying at Planner level).
- Approximately 4-5 years' planning experience within either the private or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage projects independently and work effectively within a small team environment.
