Overview
Senior Town Planner/Principal Town Planner – Hybrid Working – Bristol – Up to £38,000 – £55,000 DOE
Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for a town planner on a full-time permanent basis. We have an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of town planners, architects and landscape designers delivering projects nationally across the UK. The role is open to candidates from both the private and the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage own case load and assist with larger and more complicated projects.
- Work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and clients.
- Assist with project delivery on national site-based projects.
Qualifications
- 12-18 months experience in the public or private sector as a Town Planner
- MUST be a licentiate member of the RTPI or chartered status
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel in the UK for site visits
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
- Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority is required
