The States of Guernsey are looking for a Senior Planning Officer – Development Control to join the team at Planning Services.

Service Area: Planning Service

Salary Grade: SO1

Salary Range: £69,469 – £78,250 per annum

Working Arrangements: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with a wide range of development control work, including major development proposals.
  • Assist and support the Development Control Manager by supervising the development control team.
  • Develop and mentor Assistant and Trainee Officers.
  • Work closely with Planning Officers in Development Control.
  • Report to the Development Control Manager and be accountable to the Director of Planning.
