Position Overview
Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in East Anglia in their search for a Senior Planning Officer to join their Development Management גער. This will be an initial 6 month contract with possible scope to extend.
Key Responsibilities
We require an experienced Planning professional with recent local authority experience and the ability to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will handle a range of applications, including Complex Minor applications to small scale Major applications (Majority being Residential).
Qualifications and Experience
It would be beneficial to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Our client is willing to offer a flexible working situation, with an expectation of on-site and office presence weekly or fortnightly.
Contract and Compensation
Pay Rate – £45 per hour (dependent on the experience).
