Overview
Carrington West are assisting a local authority client based in the South of England in the search for a Landscape Architect to support the council's Planning Department on an initial 6-month contract. We are looking to fill multiple positions and are willing to review candidates at varying degrees of experience to assess landscape proposals for planning and discharge of condition applications.
The successful candidate(s) would also be involved in S106 negotiations and carry out inspections on open spaces which form part of planning legal agreements.
To apply for this role, it is essential that you have worked in a similar position within a local authority planning department. It would be beneficial to hold a Post-graduate degree, and be a chartered Landscape Architect or currently working towards chartered status.
The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering flexible hybrid working arrangements with preferably a weekly/fortnightly presence.
Pay Rate - £40 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience)
