My Local Authority Client in Buckinghamshire is looking to source experienced planning officers across the council, offering up to 5 positions.

The Role

Working Environment: Hybrid working; initial office-based induction period. Site visits required across a mixture of locations. Driving preferred (Business Insurance needed).

Responsibilities

  • Managing a significant backlog of applications.
  • High-volume, repetitive casework requiring efficient turnaround.
  • Ability to quickly integrate and work independently.
  • Strong understanding of planning regulations, local plans, TCPA, and best practice.
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Uniform and Idox systems desired.
  • Local Authority experience desired.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
