I am working closely with a local authority client of mine in the South West, we are assisting in their recruitment for a temporary Technical Support Officer/Validations Officer (Town Planning) on a 3-month initial contract. As a result of the increasing workload across the planning department, an opportunity has opened up for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join the team in the capacity of a technical support officer.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming telephone enquiries from the public, respond to emails, and manage the team inbox.
- Aid in supporting the building control administration function.
- Assist with duties such as planning validations.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid basis with office presence required on a fortnightly to monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Planning degree or previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience using the software UNIFROM and previous experience in the Town Planning Sector is essential.
Pay and Reference
Carrington West Pay Rate – £25ph (Negotiable depending on experience) – Job Ref – 63344.
